↓ DescendEvery site starts as a half-remembered idea.
LUCID came from a small frustration: nearly every website is a rectangle of text you scan once and forget. The web can hold depth, space and light, and it almost never bothers. So this is the opposite — a place instead of a page, where one crystal starts fractured and cold and ends whole and warm, and the only thing moving the camera is you. Built for the 3D Websites Hackathon.
Origin
A page you fall into, not one you skim.
Inspiration
Lucid dreams: familiar, but slightly wrong.
Intent
One image you remember after you leave.
What the dream is made of.
Procedural geometry, transmissive glass, a real captured sky, and a camera on rails made of scroll.
